Gatherings Designed With Intention
Gathered Well hosts intimate experiences where Black mental health professionals can connect, share resources, learn, collaborate, and be cared for. The shape changes from one gathering to the next, but every one should give you something useful, something real, and something that tends to your well-being.
Coming first:
Hello Friend.
December 5, 2026
Los Angeles, California
an intro gathering. Details soon.
On the calendar
This is where our gatherings live. When one is confirmed, it shows up here with everything you need to decide if it is for you.
We are just getting started, so the calendar is still filling in. Our first gathering is taking shape right now.
Each listing will tell you the date and time, the place, who the gathering is for, whether it is free or sponsor-supported, and the access details, so you always know what you are walking into.

Signature gathering concepts
These are concepts we are dreaming up, not a fixed schedule. Some will happen as written, some will change, and some are still just ideas we love. Confirmed gatherings always live on the calendar.
-
The heartbeat of Gathered Well, and the most open by design. It can happen anywhere: a coffee shop, a park, someone’s living room, wherever we can gather. And it can take any shape: a workshop one month, a circle the next, a shared meal, a movement session, a simple conversation. The format follows whatever the community needs and whatever is possible at the time. The place and the shape shift. The constant is us, together, caring for one another.
-
An intimate circle for Black professionals in the field, around the things we rarely say out loud. Rest, self-trust, boundaries, the inner critic, joy, and the weight we carry. Brotherhood and sisterhood in the same room. Call it kinship. A place to be cared for as much as you care for everyone else.
-
Gatherings led by Black yogis and movement teachers. Yoga, breath, and gentle movement, a chance to come back into your body after pouring into everyone else.
-
A few hours to be intentional. Journaling, intention, simple ritual, and a beautiful table set just for us. Not a whole retreat, just enough to exhale and reset.
-
A future public event that helps community members meet several Black therapists at once, ask a few questions, hear different approaches, and find someone they might want to reach out to.
It is educational and relational, not therapy, diagnosis, or crisis care. Meeting someone here does not start a clinical relationship.
-
An outdoor gathering with food, wellness, conversation, music, and play. Time to enjoy one another as people, not just professionals.

We all know how to do something, and most of us are figuring out the rest alone. This is where that stops.
Someone here knows how to build a CE course. Someone knows SEO, or how to actually use AI, or how to write a grant that gets funded. Someone can build a website, untangle the business side, or make sense of the paperwork and systems the rest of us dread. Bring what you know, ask for what you need, and let’s teach each other instead of paying strangers for it.
And sometimes it is bigger than a single skill. Sometimes people just want to get in a room and build something together: a project, an offering, a resource, a collaboration none of us could pull off alone. These can be one afternoon or something ongoing that grows over months, however long it takes to make the thing real.
Part teaching, part trading, part building. All of it ours.
-
A bigger experience down the road, with speakers, panels, wellness practitioners, Black-owned vendors, community partners, and room to learn, connect, and build together.
